AQBO offers an extended warranty on top of your standard 1-year manufacturers warranty. We are so confident in the quality of the products we sell, that we guarantee your purchase is fully covered against defective components, fabric fabric, and manufacturing mistakes. We guarantee to repair, replace, or refund any orders which fail to meet Australian Quality Standards outlined in this warranty view With proper care, handling, and maintenance, your blinds will surpass any warranty which can be offered. The real lifespan of the product depends on its usage.

All AQBO products are made from only the highest quality materials and components, hence we can easily guarantee you peace of mind for your blinds investment!

Warranty per product

Basic manufacturers warranty is one year. Any extended warranty depends on your chosen products and the customizations you make. For example, fabric warranties range from 2 years to 5 years, depending on which fabric brand you choose. All parts and components ordered separately have strictly 12 months warranty.

What is Covered under warranty?

  • Strictly the original purchaser of the goods
  • Blinds operation failure due to defective components
  • Defective chains, cords, or wands
  • Faulty Internal Operating Mechanisms
  • Faulty Fabric due to fading, curling, cupping, or pinholes

What is NOT Covered under warranty?

  • In-operation or blind operation failure due to wear and tear
  • Non-Standard and Non-Recommended Customizations or Alterations
  • Operational fault or difficulties due to incorrect installation
  • Damage caused by Misuse, accidents, abuse, or overly forceful operation
  • Damage and inoperation caused by natural elements (including fabric fading or curling due to excessive sun exposure)
  • Transfer of ownership of goods
  • Re-Installation or un-installation costs (including but not limited to freight, and other third parties)
  • Poor blind operation and aesthetic cause by poor maintenance & incorrect cleaning (including usage of chemicals or detergents)
  • Faulty blind operation caused by extreme installation environment of blind (including but not limited to, high moist areas such as bathrooms)

Disclaimers

  1. Australian Quality Blinds Online (AQBO) will not under any circumstances be responsible or liable for any damages (accidental or otherwise) caused by the AQBO company or its products.
  2. AQBO are not responsible for any additional expenses the customer may acquire separately from purchasing from AQBO. This includes installation fees (or similar) to external parties.
  3. In the event that an ordered product becomes discontinued and we are unable to fulfill the order, the customer will be notified and offered a similar alternative or a full refund of their purchase made.
  4. AQBO take no responsibilities for unnesessary, uncontrollable, or unavoidable delays in manufacturing or freight.
  5. All warranties obide by Australian Consumer Law and ensure our products always are made to high standards
  6. Fabric and Slat Colours may vary between batches over time, and may also be updated at AQBO discression. Where products which require replacement have been discontinued or amended, they will be replaced with the closest alternative or similar or greater value.
  7. Australian Quality Blinds Online will cover the costs of any returns or freight charges, within the first 12 months of purchase only.
  8. Normal “Wear and Tear” constituted extended use of product (including in commercial premises), as well as exposure to elements, or damage caused by animals, insects, infants, or misuse of blind due to exsessive force or improper handling
  9. Timber blinds (including basswood and econowood) are manufactured from real wood and fused timber plastic, respectively. As these are a natural product they’re natural pattern on the blinds are unique and will have variations in colour, texture, or any imperfections caused by natural markings. Timber blinds may warp or bow when installed in high humidity areas, and warranty is strictly limited under these circumstances.
  10. This warranty is laid out by Australian Quality Blinds Online (Australian Registered Business) and any warranty cannot be modified by any AQBO employee or representative. This warranty may also be updated at any time without required notice.
  11. Ownership of the warranty or purchase of blinds from AQBO is non-transferrable
  12. There is a period of 30 days to report any defective, faulty or missing goods. This is considered the standard period to acknowledge the quality of the products. Any warranty claims made after the 30 day period will be dealt with as standard wear and tear.
  13. AQBO offers fabrics made by several fabric manufacturers. Each offer a different warranty on their product. The warranty period for fabrics is either 2, 3, or 5 years.
